About us…

Since 1977, our conference has been a joint venture between the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA) and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), offering an agenda of knowledge and expertise that can be used for the promotion,  increased awareness, and implementation of safety and health practices in the workplace.

Our Mission

“To develop and formalize a unified force of safety and health persons, composed of government, labor and management, which will work together in support of long-range programs affecting the safety and health of workers on and off the job.”

“To establish a spirit of fraternalism among safety and health persons in order to further disseminate information and educational techniques relative to safety and health.”

“To enlist and develop the cooperation of and coordination among all public and private safety and health organizations in order to further encourage and promote methods and procedures leading to increased worker safety and health.”
